Winter 2017 Week 3 Recap

Once again fallen behind, but that’s part of the experience at this point. I’ve been working on a lot of plans in the background in that time, some related to this blog and some not, but I don’t want to spill the beans on them in fear of never completing them. I do want to get these out on the right day, but I can try to correct that next week I guess.

Winter 2017 Week 2 Recap

Another week. This was a fun one I guess. The season is much smaller and more slice-of-life focused than the last, but I’m fine with that. I have nothing to say up here so yeah, read the actual thoughts down below.

Winter 2017 Week 1 Recap + Eupho

This took out a bit longer to get out than I expected it to, but oh well. This season is a bit weaker than last, and I’m starting with about as many shows as I ended with last season. It’s a season much more oriented towards comedy and SoL, but after last season’s much more drama-focused and cerebral anime, I’m happy to have a lighter season. Aside from that, I’m working towards getting out my next Why I Love It post out by the end of the month, and hopefully a few other posts as well. Without further ado:

Top 10 Anime of 2016

2016 wasn’t a great year from a world-events perspective, but it was a fairly good year for my personal life, and anime played a large role in that. This is a year where I got multiple top 10 anime, and many that came close. This year’s best shows were incredibly varied in genre, and fans of anything had stuff they could love. It’s a year that reinvigorated my love for multiple franchises, and a year in which I feel as if I missed a lot even when I loved so much.

This was my favorite year of anime since joining the anime fandom, so I figured I had to make a top 10 list. This list isn’t super concrete; many of these shows could easily switch places based upon my feelings from day to day, but these are rough approximations of my general ranking. As always, this is very much based on my personal taste, and there’s no criteria. I’m just ranking my favorites of the year, and hopefully someone will enjoy seeing them.
